8 ft LIFE DEMANDS BOTH ENDS

An everyday object becomes monumental, a reminder that some of life’s simplest tools can hold its biggest lessons. Life Demands Both Ends transforms the pencil into a symbol of possibility, pressure, perseverance, and change. One end gives us the courage to make our mark; the other gives us the grace to reconsider it. Standing larger than life, the sculpture asks us to see our own lives at a different scale: to dream bigger, begin boldly, learn from what doesn’t work, and never underestimate the power of starting again. We become through both the marks we choose to make and the ones we have the courage to change. Life doesn’t demand perfection. It demands that we use both ends.
